Hello, fellow music and tech enthusiasts. First of all, I want to thank everyone for their patience over the last year and a half. It’s been an incredibly mysterious and unexpected hiatus, and for that, I apologize. The truth is, my health took a sharp, painful decline—specifically in my feet. Yes, you read that right. My once-active lifestyle came to a halt as I struggled with extreme foot issues, including some very serious gout attacks that made it nearly impossible to even walk without cringing in pain. It’s only now that I’ve gotten back on my feet (pun intended) and am starting to regain some semblance of normalcy.
But as I finally recover, I’ve decided it’s time for me to make a big move—literally. I’m packing up and heading back to the United States from Ecuador to continue what I started. I’m excited to announce that I’ll be resuming my reviews and tech commentary right here on my site, musicatechblog.biz. Tech has grown so much in my time away, and its impact on the music world and beyond is more significant than ever. The convergence of tech and music, coupled with the rise of innovative platforms and new trends, makes this a prime moment to dive back into the space. I’m ready to explore and analyze where this industry is headed, and I can’t wait to share my thoughts on the latest gadgets, software, and everything in between.
In the meantime, I’ve been watching a lot of movies to help pass the time. One gem that I revisited recently was the 1993 animated film We’re Back! starring John Goodman and Rhea Perlman. It’s a quirky, charming adventure that I believe gets far less credit than it deserves. The plot centers around a group of dinosaurs who are brought to life by a mysterious scientist, and they end up in New York City, encountering both mischievous humans and magical situations. The voice performances from Goodman and Perlman bring a delightful warmth to the characters, making it a memorable family film with a lot of heart. While it’s easy to dismiss We’re Back! as just another ‘90s animated film, it holds up surprisingly well thanks to its clever mix of humor, adventure, and surprising depth. It’s a fun ride that I wholeheartedly recommend if you’re looking for something nostalgic yet timeless.
Before I sign off, a quick health tip: If you’re looking to reduce the risk of gout, particularly in those who are prone to it, it’s essential to avoid certain foods that can trigger flare-ups. Shrimp and pork are two of the biggest culprits. These foods contain high levels of purines, which break down into uric acid in the body—a major contributor to gout attacks. By cutting back on shrimp and pork, you’re helping to manage uric acid levels and potentially reducing the likelihood of those painful flare-ups.
I’m looking forward to diving back into the world of music, tech, and everything in between. Stay tuned for fresh content coming soon—this is just the beginning!
